Nice to meet you, my name is Iyama, and I’m the director of the Ceramics Online Museum.
This museum was established in collaboration with ancient art researchers with the desire to “bring the beauty of ancient ceramics closer to people.”
Ceramic art is stored in museums, but it can be difficult to see the pieces you’re looking for, as it requires the effort of traveling to the museum. Furthermore, the pieces you’re looking for are often not on display, making them surprisingly difficult to see.
It is possible to view some ceramics online, but the number of photos is limited and the photos are small, so we felt that the existing options were not yet sufficient to enjoy these masterpieces online.
For this reason, I have decided to utilize my skills as a photographer and, representing the Ancient Art Research Society, serve as director and operate a website that allows you to enjoy ancient ceramics online at any time.
As a photographer, I strive to take photos that allow you to see the ceramics even better than they would be in a museum.
The ceramics featured need to be of high quality, so all members of the Ancient Art Research Society work together to select the ceramics and determine the research content.
I hope you will learn that in addition to museum collections, there are also masterpieces in private collections.

President, TOUJI GRAPHICA G.K
Address: #602 MarunochiUSbiru,3-15-22,Marunochi,Naka-ku,Nagoya-shi, Aichi-ken,460-0002,Japan
Career
I graduated from the Photography Department of Nagoya Visual Arts. While I was a student, I began photographing the works of ceramic artists in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, as well as the pottery-making process.
After working at a photography studio for three years, I joined Japan Dental Frontier Co., Ltd., where I worked on advertising and website production.
Eleven years ago, I began studying ancient art in Aichi, where I learned about ceramics, mainly from China and Korea. I have seen and touched over 10,000 pieces of ceramic.
I have launched this website to utilize my photography and website production skills to spread the word about the appeal of ancient ceramic art.
Management Web site
We currently operate three ceramics-related websites.
TOUJI GRAPHICA VIRTUAL MUSEUM
We display art primarily from China, Japan, and the Korean peninsula online. We collaborate with collectors and researchers of antique ceramics to allow everyone to view and enjoy these masterpieces, and to provide useful resources.
As a photographer, I photograph all of the ceramics, design the website, and write the articles in cooperation with the research group.
SANKA Antique
We are the official antique dealer operated by the Ceramics Online Museum, selling certified, high-quality antique ceramics.
The pieces on display in the museum are extremely rare and difficult to sell, but there are other fine pieces among the ceramics collected for research, and the research group selects and sells them.
I manage the website, take photos, and write product descriptions.
