The Ding ware kilns were the first to perfect the production of white porcelain.

Ding ware is said to be the first Chinese ceramic producer to perfect the porcelain-like white porcelain.
It is counted as one of the five great kilns of the Song Dynasty, and its masterpieces were even presented as tribute to the imperial court.
The ceramics are very elegant, with a soft, ivory-like white surface adorned with intricate carvings, resulting in a magnificent and opulent design.
