The most famous production site of Yohen Tenmoku in China

Located near Shuiji Town, Jianyang County, Fujian Province, this was one of the famous kilns of the Song Dynasty, producing many Tenmoku tea bowls along with the rise of tea drinking.
The Tenmoku tea bowls, including the Yohen Tenmoku and Yuteki Tenmoku (both designated as national treasures in japan), as well as other types such as Hemoku Tenmoku, are famous in Japan.
In China, these bowls are called \"Jian ware,\" meaning \"cups fired at the Jian ware kiln,\" and are attracting attention from many researchers of ancient art.
