李朝割高台茶碗 – Tea Bowl with Dividing Bottom

割高台茶碗（わりこうだいちゃわん）は高麗茶碗の一つでその名の通り高台が割れているのが特徴です。
割高台といってもその形状は様々であり、高台に十字に切り込みを入れた物もあれば、三角形の切り込みを入れた物、本品のように三角に切れ目を入れ高台を十字にしているものもございます。
十字につくられた高台は生焼けを防ぐ目的などから内側を削り取り丁寧な作り込みです。
割高台茶碗が作られた経緯は諸説ございますが、そのほとんどは日本からの注文であったと考えられています。
青井戸茶碗に近い色の釉薬が掛かり、ところどころ赤い緋色の発色をいたします。
口縁部から胴にかけては細かい貫入が入り、胴から腰にかけて釉薬の縮みが発生しゆず肌となり小さな孔が点在します。
そして高台脇から高台にかけてはさらに大きく釉が縮むことでみごとな梅花皮（かいらぎ）が咲きます。

It is one of the Goryeo tea bowls and is characterized by its bottom being divided.
Dividing Bases come in various shapes; some have a cross-shaped cut on the bottom, while others, like this one, have a triangular cut and a cross-shaped bottom.
The cross-shaped bottom is carefully crafted by carving out the inside to prevent undercooking.
There are various theories about how the Dividing Base was created, but most of them are thought to have been ordered from Japan.
It has a slightly biwa-colored glaze similar to that of an Ido tea bowl, and has a scarlet coloration in some places.
There is fine crackle-glazing from the rim to the body, and small holes are scattered from the body to the waist due to shrinkage of the glaze.
And the large shrinkage around the bottom looks like a plum blossom and is spectacular.
