抹茶を立てる際の茶筅（ちゃせん）に似た形状から茶筅形徳利と呼ばれます。
茶筅形の中では背が低くどっしりとした形です。
単純な形状に見えますが、首から肩にかけての曲線、肩の角張、胴にかけてのくびれなどとても丁寧な作りです。
しっとりとして落ち着きのある白磁の色に、シンプルに円形の花文が描かれます。
呉須の色も濃く、線も細い丁寧な絵付けです。
高台の一部から初期伊万里の白い土の様子を見ることができます。

Although it looks a simple shape, it is carefully crafted with curves from the neck to the shoulders, angular shoulders, and a narrow waist towards the body.
A simple circular floral design is painted on the moist, subdued color of the white porcelain.
The gosu is a deep color and the painting is done carefully with thin lines.
