南宋官窯青磁貫耳方瓶 – Guan ware Bottle

胴が丸みを持った方形で、下膨れし口に向けて細くなります。
器体の厚みも口に掛けて薄く作られています。
首の辺りには帯状の段差があり、その両端には２つの筒形の耳が備えられます。
高台は高さがあり、底に向かって広がる形状です。
この形状は貫耳方瓶と言われ、元々は青銅器の尊という形の一種で、祭器として儀式使われました。
全体にかけられた釉薬は柔らかい印象で、やや緑色の強い灰青色の青磁釉です。
全体には大きな貫入が形に沿って入ります。

The body is a rounded square shape that tapers toward a mouth that flares slightly outward at the base.
The vessel walls become thinner as they approach the rim.
There is a band-like ridge around the neck, flanked by Cylindrical Handeles.
It features a tall foot that widens toward the base.
This form derives from the zun found in ancient Chinese bronzeware and was originally used in ritual ceremonies.
The overall glaze creates a soft impression; it is a celadon glaze with a greenish, ash-blue hue.
Prominent crackle-glazed patterns run across the surface, following the contours of the vessel.
