正方形に一角を落とした形で、蓋の上面には装飾として石が付けられます。
高さ2cm弱ととても薄いですが、内部は縁取りがされ浅いながらも薬などを入れることができるようになっている。
漆を塗り使用した跡があるが、蓋にはその奥に釉の光沢が見えます。
蓋の上面は光沢もなく焦げがあり一部が緋色に発色し、下部は底面が少し光沢がございます。
このことから蓋は内側を上に、下部は底を上に向けて焼いた可能性も考えられます。

It is shaped like a square with one corner cut off, and a stone is attached to the top of the lid as a decoration.
It’s very thin, just under 2cm tall, but the inside has a rim that allows you to put medicine etc. into it, even though it’s shallow.
There are traces of lacquer application, but the luster of the glaze can be seen on the lid.
The top of the lid has no shine and is burnt, with some parts turning scarlet, and the bottom of the lid is slightly glossy.
This suggests that the lid may have been baked with the inside facing up, and the bottom part may have been baked with the bottom facing up.
