幅広な高台から大きく開く斗笠形の器形。
内面には鉄絵にて唐草が力強い筆致で描かれ、所々に現れる褐色の鉄顔料が赤い実を思わせます。
上から掛けられた青磁釉は、しっとりとした釉調。
太く作られた高台には大きな石目跡が３つ残り、高台内までの総釉となっています。
外側には天目茶碗に似た鉄釉がかけられ、釉が垂れることで禾目のような模様が浮かびます。
鉄顔料の上に青磁釉を掛けた鉄地は多く見られますが、青磁と鉄釉を塗り分けた品は極めて稀です。

The vessel has a wide base and a wide opening.
The inside is painted with iron arabesque patterns in bold brushstrokes, and the brown iron pigment that appears here and there resembles red berries.
The celadon glaze applied on top has a moist texture.
The thick base has three large stone marks, and the glaze extends all the way to the base.
The outside is covered with an iron glaze similar to that of a Tenmoku tea bowl, and the dripping glaze creates a fur-like pattern.
It is common to see celadon glaze applied over iron pigment, but it is extremely rare to see celadon and iron glaze applied separately.
