越州窯 青磁牡丹文獅子鈕龍首水注 – Yue ware Ewer

獅子鈕蓋水注は北宋時代に多く作られた形で、越州窯の青磁や景徳鎮白磁で見られます。
丸く膨らんだ胴を貫くように龍の意匠の注ぎ口と耳がつきます。
胴にはヘラを斜めに入れる片刃彫りという技法にて草花文が施され、よく見ると葉脈まで細かく彫られます。
注入口にはツマミ付きの蓋（鈕蓋）があり、上部に細かく作られた獅子が鎮座します。
高台には大きめの目跡が残り、蓋には穴を開けて割れるのを防ぐなどの細かいこだわりがなされます。
越州窯の青磁は「秘色」とも言われる上品なオリーブ色で、彫りの模様に釉薬が溜まり華やか色合いを生み出しています。

This type of Ewar porcelain was commonly produced during the Northern Song dynasty and can be seen in Yue ware celadon and Jingdezhen white porcelain.
A spout and handles shaped like dragons pierce the rounded, bulging body.
The body is decorated with floral motifs using a technique called single-edged carving, where a spatula is inserted at an angle; upon closer inspection, even the veins of the leaves are finely carved.
The spout has a lid with a knob, and a finely crafted lion sits atop it.
Large firing marks remain on the foot, and the lid has holes to prevent breakage, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
Yue ware celadon has an elegant olive color, and the glaze accumulates in the carved patterns, creating a vibrant appearance.
