青磁花口盞 – Celadon Tea Bowl

口が花びらのような形状をしていることから「花口盞」と言います。
盞とはお椀のことであり、日本では花口碗と呼ばれています。
口縁が花の形状をした青磁は多く作られていますが、このようにランダムに様々な形をした花びらのものはとても珍しい品になります。
口縁部の釉薬の流れで厚みに変化があり、素地が薄く見えていることで花びらのような立体感がとても美しいです。
碗とはいうもののサイズは小さく、また口の形状から喫茶目的ではなかったものと考えられます。
