高麗青磁象嵌三島魚文高足皿 – Celadon Stem Plate

足が高く肉厚で上の皿はやや緩やかにアーチを描きながら水平気味に広がります。
器面全体には象嵌による模様が描かれており、皿の上面には中央に菊花文、その周りに３匹の鱖魚（けつぎょ）が泳ぎます。
鱖魚は宮闕（宮殿）に入って出世することを意味します。
さらにその周りには印花で無数の菊花が押され、枠には蝶、さらにその周りには草花文で埋め通します。
足には屈折した線が縦に施され、この象嵌の組み合わせは高足皿では定番です。
そしてこの器は下面の見えないところまで象嵌がされ、更には足の内側にも蓮花文が並べられます。
このような見えないところまで象嵌などで模様を施すことは最大の贅沢とされます。
全体には落ち着いた黄色みがかった灰青色の釉薬が施されます。

The bottom is high and thick, and the top plate spreads out horizontally while drawing a gentle arch.
The entire surface of the vessel is decorated with inlaid patterns, and on the top of the plate there is a chrysanthemum design in the center with three fish swimming around it.
The fish represent entering the palace and promotion.
Countless chrysanthemums are stamped around it, the frame is filled with butterflies, and grass patterns are placed all around that.
The foot has bent lines running vertically, a standard combination of inlay for high-footed plates.
The bottom of this vessel is also inlaid with patterns that cannot be seen, and lotus patterns are also lined up on the inside of the foot.
Applying patterns with inlay or other means even in places that cannot be seen is considered the ultimate luxury.
The whole piece is covered with a calm yellowish gray-blue glaze.
