緩やかに広がった典型的な鉢に内外両面に象嵌で模様を施します。
見込み中央には漢字で「己巳」施されるがこれは十干十二支と呼ばれ年号を表し、組み合わせから６０年で周期いたします。
漢字の周りに蓮弁、さらに池を浮かぶ水鳥と草花による「蓮池水禽文」を１対描き、草花文が縁取ります。
外面には唐草と円で縁取られた枠の中に菊花文が４つ描かれ、内面同様に草花文で縁取ります。
焼成時に酸化焼成気味に焼かれたことにより、青磁の釉薬が黄色く発色している「米色青磁」と呼ばれる品で、高麗青磁としては希少なものになります。
底には５点の目跡を残し底まで掛ける総釉は高麗青磁の作りとしてはとても珍しく、位の高い方向けに作られた可能性がございます。

This typical gently tapered bowl has inlaid patterns on both the inside and outside.
Chinese characters are inscribed in the center of the inside, which are called the Ten Heavenly Stems and Twelve Earthly Branches and represent the era, which in combination cycle every 60 years.
Around the Chinese characters are lotus petals and a pair of designs of waterfowl and flowers floating in a pond, bordered by floral patterns.
On the outside, four chrysanthemum patterns are painted within a frame bordered by arabesque patterns and a circle, and the inside is similarly bordered by floral patterns.
The piece was fired to a slightly oxidizing temperature, which gives the celadon glaze a yellow color, making it known as “rice-colored celadon” and a rare example of Goryeo celadon.
The fact that there are five nail marks on the bottom and that the entire piece is glazed all the way to the bottom is very rare for Goryeo celadon, and it is possible that it was made for someone of high rank.
