日本読みでは「かんじはっぽうへい」と読みます。
胴が八角形であり、頸（首）に筒のように貫いた耳がついていることが特徴です。
この時期の青磁瓶は装飾として首に耳をつけるものが多く作られていました。
八方貫耳瓶は頸も八角柱になっているものが多い中、この品は首は円柱状となっています。
大きくまっすぐ開いた口に比べ、耳は小ぶりであり大きめの胴と比べてとてもバランスのいい形状です。
八角形の胴からつながるように円形の高台へなめらかに違和感なく繋がり、とても薄く鋭利な形状で設置面は1mmもありません。
釉色は緑が強くとても鮮やかな色をしており、一目に青磁とわかるようなキレイな色をしています。
全体に貫入が入っており、胴の部分は大きく、口に向かうにつれて細かい貫入となっています。
