南宋御窯青磁陰刻蓋付碗 – Guan ware Celadon

南宋の官窯にて焼かれた青磁の香炉。
高めの高台に丸く膨れ上がった胴、首のあたりで少し窪みがあり、口縁部でゆるやかに外に広がります。
御窯（おんよう・ごよう・ぎょよう）とは聞き馴染みのない言葉であるが、官窯の中で特に皇帝が使うために作られた陶磁器および窯のことを指します。
南宋官窯自体が宮廷御用達の窯であり、とても精巧な陶磁器を生産しておりましたが、その中でも特に優れたものが皇帝の使われる品として選ばれました。
本品は薄型の碗に縁に波打った蓋が備えられており、蓋にはうっすらと陰刻による丸い斑点模様と花形の取っ手が備え付けられます。
碗と蓋との被さる部分がとても精巧で薄く角は立ち上がり、狂いがなくきっちりと嵌るのは大変難しく御窯ならではです。
当時の窯と土でこの精度の品を作るには大変難しく、何百と作ったうちの一つであると考えられます。
蓋付き碗としておりますがこの形は類例がなく、本来の目的は不明であり、形状的には香合として使われていた可能性もございます。

This item is a thin bowl with a lid with wavy edges, and the lid has a round spot pattern with faint intaglio and a flower-shaped handle.
The part where the bowl and lid overlap is very delicate and thin, and the corners stand up, ensuring a tight fit without any slippage.
It was very difficult to make a product of this precision using the kiln and clay of the time, and it is thought that this is one of hundreds that were made.
Although it is a bowl with a lid, this shape is unprecedented, and its original purpose is unknown, and there is a possibility that it was used as an incense box.
