粉青沙器印花鉄絵魚文瓶 – Buncheong ware

石混じりの灰色の土に、胴に魚文と花文が施されます。
魚文は象嵌を用いて目や輪郭を、印花で鱗を表現します。
その上から鉄絵を用いることで鰭の線と目が描かれ、象嵌と併用するのは大変珍しい意匠です。
花は茎がすらっと伸び、その先にある花も象嵌の上に鉄絵で模様が描かれ、どこか魅惑的です。
主となる文様以外にも、象嵌で底部に小さな蓮弁文、首に雷門、口に草花文が細かく施されます。
鉄絵は腰に大きな蓮弁文が、肩に唐草文が描かれ、広い瓶の器面を生かしバランスよく配置されています。

The body is decorated with fish and flower patterns on the gray soil mixed with stones.
Fish patterns use inlays to express the eyes and outlines, and stamp to express the scales.
The fin lines and eyes are drawn on top of this using iron painting, and it is a very unusual design to use this together with inlay.
The stems of the flowers grow slenderly, and the flowers at the end have a pattern drawn with iron painting on the inlay, giving it a somewhat enchanting appearance.
In addition to the main pattern, there is also a small lotus petal pattern on the bottom, a Kaminarimon gate on the neck, and a flower pattern on the mouth.
The iron painting has a large lotus petal pattern on the waist and an arabesque pattern on the shoulder, which are arranged in a well-balanced manner to take advantage of the wide surface of the bottle.
