８弁の蓮形の鉢で丸い花弁と尖った花弁が交互に重なります。
腰が丸く張り、先端に向かって垂直に立ち上がる形で縁で少し広がります。
高台も垂直でなく、少し外に反るような作りは汝窯ならではです。
汝窯の青磁は天青釉と呼ばれ、雨上がりの水分を含んだような失透性の水色で、貫入も薄めなのが特徴です。
釉薬は底まで全体に掛けられ、底部には米粒よりも小さな５点の支釘跡残されるのも汝窯の特徴です。
花弁の一部に現れている水色の斑点も汝窯の特徴として見られるものです。

A lotus-shaped pot with eight petals, alternating round and pointed petals.
The waist is rounded and rises vertically toward the tip, widening slightly at the edges.
The elevated platform is not vertical, but is slightly curved outwards, which is unique to Ru ware.
The celadon made by Ru ware has a devitrified light blue color that looks like it contains moisture after rain, and is characterized by a light crackle-glazed finish.
The glaze is applied all the way to the bottom, and one of the characteristics of the Yu kiln is that five nail marks smaller than a grain of rice are left on the bottom.
The light blue spots that appear on some of the petals are also a characteristic of the Ru ware.
