古伊賀沓茶碗 – Old Iga Tea Bowl

緩やかに開きながら立ち上がり、口の下方と胴には不規則に横方向の箆彫りを入れます。
淡いオレンジ色に焼き締められ、器面の全体から素地の陶土に含まれる長石が白い粒として吹き出します。
口縁は波うつように高低がつき内外は面取りされ、やや作為的に白みがかったビードロ釉が掛かり、一面は流れ高台脇に溜まります。
見込みの灰が降りかかることによる細かな斑点模様は、口が窄まることで円形の景色を作り出します。
低い高台は畳つけを太く作り、高台内は島状の頭巾となり、周囲を削り込みます。

It opens gently as it rises, and irregular horizontal carvings are made below the rim and on the body.
It is fired to a pale orange color, and feldspar contained in the clay is expelled from the entire surface as white grains.
The inside and outside of the rim are chamfered and a whitish Vidro glaze is applied somewhat artificially, one side flowing and pooling beside the foot.
The fine speckled pattern caused by ash falling from the rim creates a circular appearance as the rim narrows.
The low bottom is made wide, the inside bulges and the edges are carved away.
