禾目天目（兎毫盞） – Tenmoku Fur Glaze

焼成をする際に釉薬中の結晶が流下し、黒釉の中に細い線条の模様ができているものを禾目天目（のぎめてんもく）と呼びます。
模様が稲の「芒＝禾（のぎ）」に似ているようであることから、そう名付けられました。
禾目天目という呼び方は日本が作ったもので、中国においては兎の細くしなやかな毛に例えて「兎毫盞（とごうさん）」と呼ばれています。
また、建窯で焼かれた茶碗（盞）を指す言葉である建盞（けんさん）という名前をこの兎毫盞にさして呼ぶこともございます。

この線状の模様の色は灰白色、灰褐色、黄褐色、青藍色、青灰色など様々なものがあり、この茶碗は黄色が強めの黄褐色をしています。
建窯で焼かれたものであり、最もポピュラーである束口碗の形をした建盞です。

It is a Tenmoku tea bowl in which crystals in the glaze flow down during firing and a fine streak pattern is formed in the black glaze.
It is called “Fur Glaze”, which is likened to the thin and supple hair of a rabbit.

This linear pattern has various colors such as grayish white, grayish brown, tan, blue indigo, and blueish gray, and this tea bowl is tan.
It is baked in a Jian ware and is the most popular bowl-shaped tea bowl.
