杉形に形成され、腰の辺りに大きな４段のろくろ目が巡ります。
口は僅かに丸まり、包み込むように手に収まります。
高い竹節高台は上方に向かいやや窄まり、高台内には頭巾が綺麗に立ちます。
とても代表的な井戸茶碗の形です。
見込みは少し窪み、その周りを4点の重ね焼きの跡が残ります。
肌は艶やかで井戸としては明るく淡い琵琶色の釉は少し赤みがかかり、柔らかい印象です。
外側の口の下には白く釉薬が溜まり、波打ちながら一つに集まり大きな雫のような景色を作ります。
淡い釉色にメリハリをつけるように高台脇には梅花皮（かいらぎ）が咲きます。

There are four large potter’s wheel marks around the waist.
The mouth is slightly rounded and fits snugly in the hand.
The tall bamboo joint bottom tapers slightly towards the top, with beautiful corners within the base.
It is a very typical Ido type tea bowl shape.
The inner bottom is slightly sunken, and traces of the four layers of firing remain around it.
The surface is lustrous and the bright, pale biwa glaze for an Ido bowl has a slight reddish tinge, giving it a soft impression.
White glaze has pooled under the outer mouth and comes together in an undulating manner, creating the appearance of a large drop of water.
Glaze shrinkage appears on the bottom sides, adding definition to the pale glaze color.
